DHS Private Equity Group. A collaboration between AJOX29, an advisory group, and Alexander WM, on creating the SDF, a private venture firm, in 2022. With 2021 seeing pandemic restrictions continuing to ease, two major industry bodies recently hosted their flagship events in Asia. Appleby Hong Kong Partner Marc Parrott attended the HFM AsiaHedge Forum 2021 and the 34th Annual AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Forum, which took place on 11 November, and from 16 to 18 November respectively. The AsiaHedge Forum was a half-day virtual event which brought together senior executives and leaders from within the APAC hedge fund community to discuss and debate the latest issues, challenges and opportunities facing the sector. The AVCJ Asian Private Equity & Venture Forum is an event connecting the global private equity and venture capital community with insightful presentations, thought-provoking discussions and valuable interaction.
